Happy Birthday Bekah!

The "P" family are very very dear friends of ours and their daughter is a few months younger than my older daughter.  The two girls have pretty much grown up together and they get along perfectly.   Miss Bekah's 4th birthday was complete with a double-layer half-sheet cake in classic white with buttercream icing.  The pink character is "Foofa" from the preschool show "Yo Gabba Gabba", also in buttercream.

(Note: I usually don't do double-layer sheet cakes, this was a special exception)

  1. You do such fantastic work, Missy! The cakes are beautiful and delicious... absolute works of art. I have to admit I kinda envy your talent. What a GREAT way to get to be a stay-at-home mom and wife and still find a way to contribute to the kitty.

Thanks for taking on our last minute birthday job! I was afraid the cakeballs were going to be gone before the party started.

    Love and appreciate you,
    Edwina

  2. This cake is awesome! I'm making a foofa cake for the first time and would love any tips on how you actually made Foofa. Did you pipe the design onto parchament first? What kind of tip did you use to pipe her, or did you just spread the icing?

It really is a gorgeous cake! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
