New Year, New prices

I HATE doing this, really I do.  My price list has been updated to reflect the crazy rising prices at the grocery store.  Please remember that I'm a stay-at-home mom to 3 little ones and baking yummy treats for customers is a hobby of mine.  I don't get bulk discounts like normal bakeries and supermarkets do and this hobby of mine is quite expensive.  However, I think you'll find my prices are still rather affordable compared to fancy bakeries.

Happy New Year to all my wonderful customers!  I'll be updating the blog soon ;)

Cake for Bridal Shower

After taking a short hiatus, I'm slowly easing back into doing cakes again.  My family moved to a new home and in the middle of that, we found out that we're expecting our third baby; so a break was needed!  So, I am back but I will be cutting back on the amount of orders I take.

This bridal shower cake was a double-layer, 10" round white almond cake with buttercream icing.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Cake + Cupcakes

The cake was a single-layer, large half-sheet vanilla cake with buttercream and lots of fondant accents.  Cupcakes were decorated to look like Mickey Mouse with chocolate buttercream icing and fondant mouse ears.

Cat and the Hat Birthday Cake

This cake was decorated to match the birthday girl's party dress.  The bottom cake was a double-layer, 10" round strawberry cake and the top cake was a double-layer, 6" round chocolate cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents.   Yes, the "2" was supposed to be crooked.  :)

Baseball cake + cookies

This was a single-layer, large half-sheet marble cake with buttercream icing.  Matching baseball sugar cookies for the goodie bags.

Elmo Birthday Cake for Katelyn

This was a fun one!  Katelyn's 2nd birthday was Elmo themed, who she loves very much.  Her party was awww.maaaaazz.ing.  You can check it out here.
The bottom tier of the cake was a double-layer 8" round and the top tier was a double-layer 6" round, both were classic white with buttercream icing and a gumpaste Elmo sat on top.

Also, there were Elmo decorated sugar cookies, that turned out way cuter than I ever expected.

Here's a better pic with a professional photographer (makes me really want to get a fancy camera and learn how to take nice pictures of my cakes).
