Yikes, I'm waaaaaay behind on my blogging aren't I?
This was a double-layer 8" round chocolate chocolate chip cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. I decorated it to match the shower invitations.

Baby Shower cake for Helen
This baby shower cake was for a friend of mine so I was really nervous about it since I would be attending the shower! The shower theme was coordinated with her baby's crib bedding, which is beautiful! The cake was a double-layer, 6" square and 8" square marbled cake with buttercream icing. The bird nest on top was a suggestion from one of the shower hostesses and was made of toasted coconut and the egg was fondant.
The shower was absolutely beautiful; Michelle and Papar, you did the best job! Thank you for asking me to do the cake.
If you're on my facebook page, you can see a picture that Michelle posted of the cake at the shower with the matching decorations. It looked so pretty.

Baby Shower for twin girls!
This was another baby shower cake I did for twin girls, Leah and Blair. It was a double-layer, 10" square classic white cake with strawberry filling and buttercream icing. It was made to match the shower invite.
Valentine's Day Baby Shower
This cake was for a Valentine's themed baby shower (I believe the baby is due on or near the holiday). It was a double-layer, 8" round red velvet cake with buttercream icing. "AGB" are the baby's initials.
Also, I did 2 dozen ladybug cakeballs; too cute! Half were chocolate and half were white.

Baby Carriage Shower Cake - Take 2
Wow, I haven't updated this blog in a while.
This was another version of the baby carriage cake I did recently for a baby shower. Except this time, I added a baby face. Again it was a double layer, 12-inch round classic white cake with two 4-inch classic white cakes as wheels with buttercream icing and chocolate fondant zebra stripes.
Plus, matching cakeballs!
Thanks for ordering with me Jennifer!

Baby Carriage Shower Cake
"This is precious AND fabulous!" - comment from a Facebook Fan. I love getting comments on my cake pictures, so please feel free to post them!
This was a double layer, 12-inch round classic white cake and two little single layer, 4-inch round white cakes with buttercream icing. The black zebra stripes were fondant accents.
Thanks so much for ordering this cake, Kim!!

Made 2 Match Baby Shower Cake
These baby shower cakes were made to match the baby's crib bedding. There were three cakes in all plus 2 dozen red velvet cakeballs. The mom-to-be was surprised during a Houston Rodeo Committee meeting!
This cake was a double layer, 10" round vanilla cake with buttercream icing. (the last name is intentionally blurry, I didn't think I should post the baby's full name!)
This cake was a double layer, 8" round carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Safari Baby Shower Cake
This baby shower was Safari themed and the hostess saw a sample cake she wanted me to copy. It was a single layer, half-sheet cake in vanilla with buttercream icing and fondant accents.

Baby Shower Cake for Addison
We really live in a small world. The girl who ordered this cake from me and I went to high school together and I graduated with her husband. It was definitely a surprise when I showed up at their house for the delivery!
Anyway, she wanted the cake to match the baby's nursery bedding:
I did a double-layer, 10" classic white cake with buttercream and chocolate fondant on the sides. I'm really happy how this cake turned out and it is one of my favorite cakes I've done to date. There were also 2 dozen chocolate cakeballs that I forgot to take a picture of. They were dipped in chocolate with blue and green drizzles, to match the cake colors.
Carrie, thanks so much for ordering with me and it was great to catch up with you!!

Baby Shower Cake
This is another invitation inspired baby shower cake. It was a classic white, double-layer, 8-inch square cake with buttercream icing (with the exception of the dark brown, which was chocolate icing).

Thanks for asking me to do this cake for you, Sarah! Love you!

Baby Shower cake for a little princess
Again, Jake's awesome APM ladies have given me work and I have gladly accepted. This is a cake for a baby shower that was held today. It's a half-sheet, single layer marble cake with buttercream icing. The theme was to coordinate with the baby's bedding decor. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out!
Thanks Glenda for letting me do the cake for Melissa's shower!! I hope everyone liked it.

Yes, another Baby Shower cake!
This time it was for a shower I was co-hosting for my friend, Laura, who is expecting little boy #2 at the end of this month. Another co-host bought the paper goods for the shower and gave me a sample napkin to match. I have to tell you that I'm a SUCKER for toile patterns, I just love how beautiful they are. I even decorated Maddie's nursery in pink and brown toile!

So I knew I had to incorporate the toile somehow. Luckily, I was able to get a custom image printed onto sugar sheets so I was able to do this:

Baby Shower cake for Luke
Another wonderful neighbor of mine ordered this cake for a baby shower this past weekend. I had seen pictures of baby block cakes before and when she said that's what she wanted, I was really excited because I've wanted to do one! This was a 10-inch square, double layer chocolate cake that I cut into 4 smaller squares with buttercream icing.
Mary, I hope the shower went well! Thanks so much for your order!!

Baby Shower cake for Jayson
Another one of my husband's wonderful co-workers requested this cake for a baby shower. It was my very first stacked cake so I was really excited and nervous at the same time. Luckily, she provided me with a sample picture for me to copy and that helped me tremendously. The top layer is a 6-inch round double layer yellow cake and the bottom is an 8-inch square double layer yellow cake with buttercream icing and fondant accents.
Thanks again Jessica, I hope the momma-to-be liked it!

Baby Shower Cake
Here is a super cute baby shower cake I did for my lovely friend Sarah, one of the co-hostesses of the shower. She emailed me a copy of the shower invitation so I could match the theme. We went with a 8-inch round, double layer basic white cake with buttercream icing.
Thanks Sarah for letting me do this cake for the shower!!

Baby Shower Cake
My husband's co-workers hosted a baby shower for another co-worker last week and they asked me to do the cake. The mom-to-be loves chocolate so I did a double layer 10-inch square cake in chocolate chocolate chip with buttercream icing. I think it turned out cute and I hear it tasted great, also (which is always the most important)!
Thanks APM Payroll ladies for hiring me, AGAIN!!
