Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Cake + Cupcakes

The cake was a single-layer, large half-sheet vanilla cake with buttercream and lots of fondant accents.  Cupcakes were decorated to look like Mickey Mouse with chocolate buttercream icing and fondant mouse ears.

Girly Birthday Cupcakes

I made these chocolate cupcakes for a good friend of mine who was celebrating a special little girl's 1st birthday.  Her nickname is "Little Miss" so I wrote "Lil Miss" on one of the cupcakes.

This was such a fun little cake.  It was a double-layer 10" round vanilla cake with buttercream icing and lots of fondant accents.  Thomas was made entirely of fondant.  Cupcakes were chocolate.

Tiger & Monkey cupcakes

I just love how these cupcakes turned out.  The monkeys were banana cake and the tigers were chocolate cake.  Both decorated in buttercream icing and fondant accents.

Rocket cupcakes

At the Pearland YMCA, there's a party room called the "Rocket Room".  Thus the reason for rockets on these 3rd birthday cupcakes (banana and chocolate with buttercream icing).

These are my most favorite cupcakes in the world.  Chocolate with a peanut filling and peanut butter icing for my husband's cousin's 21st birthday.

This was a 5" round strawberry smash cake with buttercream icing for Miss Layla's 1st birthday party. 

 
Her guests had red velvet, strawberry, carrot and chocolate flavored cupcakes all with cream cheese icing.

This was an double-layer 8" square chocolate cake with buttercream icing.  The cupcakes were marble cake with buttercream icing.  And the favors were large decorated sugar cookies.

Little Miss Tatum turned 7 last weekend and had a fabulous Christmas themed party. This Santa cake is a 10-inch round, single layer white cake with a few white cupcakes for accents. She also had 2 dozen chocolate cupcakes to match.

Happy 1st Birthday Logan!!

Logan had his 1st birthday last weekend and his party was football themed. His mom ordered the football cake in vanilla with buttercream icing and 2 dozen chocolate cupcakes, also with buttercream icing.

My husband coaches a little league football team, the Sophomore Deer Park Tigers. One of the boys' parents had everyone over after a scrimmage last Saturday for a swim party so Jake asked me to whip up some cupcakes at the last minute. They're pretty basic but 4th grade boys don't really care what cake looks like, they just eat it.....quickly.

University Cheer Party

Maddie, Abby's older sister, belongs to University Cheer and they had a party last weekend. The funny thing is that I know/grew up with 2 of UC's top administrator/coaches.
