new menu item - chocolate covered Oreos!

I love chocolate. I mean, I really really love chocolate. So I had the urge to start making these because I figured if I like them, someone else is sure to like them also.

These were packaged for a baby shower I helped out with last weekend. I want to eat one just looking at the pictures. :)

Girls Night Out Birthday Party

Not to pat myself on the back or anything but this has to be the cutest cake I've ever done. It's also probably the yummiest! This is a double layer, 10-inch round chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and butter cream icing. The black circle on top is fondant and I glued a small black feather boa around the cake board. Also, you will notice a little touch of sparkle to the top of the cake.....that's called disco dust; pretty huh?

Happy Birthday Cameron!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack........sort of! I will be easing myself back into the kitchen for the next few weeks or so. But I couldn't turn down a good friend of ours when she asked me to do this cake for her son's 10th birthday.

Cameron had his birthday party at a paintball park here in Pearland this past weekend, that should explain the globs of icing all over the place! This cake was a 10-inch square cake, one layer classic white and one layer devil's food chocolate, with buttercream icing.

A big thank you to Kayla for letting me do this cake for Cam-o, I hope he had a fantastic birthday!!
